Former Academy or College Credit Plus (CCP) Students
Former Academy or CCP students seeking admission to Extended Education must apply and pay a nonrefundable $60 application fee. All former Academy and CCP students must apply as a new applicant.
Former Transient/Visitor Students
All former transient/visitor students must reapply each year. Transient/visitor students can attend Ohio State for one term per 12 consecutive months. Formerly enrolled transient visitor students, who previously paid an application fee, may reapply with no additional application fee. Email extendeded@osu.edu to verify if you are eligible to apply without paying another application fee.
Current or Former Ohio State Students
Students that have previously attended Ohio State in any capacity, at the graduate or undergraduate level (excluding the other types of students described on this page), requesting to become undergraduate, non-degree seeking students should complete the Extended Education Activation Request Form. Students who are returning to undergraduate, non-degree should select “return from leave of absence.” Students who were last in another major/program should select “program change to undergraduate non-degree.” Upon submission, your request should be processed within 2-3 business days.

Ohio State Alumni or Graduating Seniors
Alumni or graduating Ohio State seniors requesting to become undergraduate non-degree seeking students should complete the Extended Education Activation Request Form. Please select “program change to undergraduate non-degree.” Upon submission, your request should be processed within 2-3 business days.
