Return of Grid View to Carmen Discussions

You asked and Desire2Learn, the learning management system behind Carmen, answered.

On Monday Dec. 28, we welcome the long awaited return of Grid View to Carmen Discussions.

Grid View comes back with all its previous functionality. In addition, you again have the ability to switch quickly between Grid View and the current Reading View option.

Both views offer their own strengths:

  • Grid View offers a transparent layout, allowing you to view all threads and replies at the same time. This may make for a better assessment experience. Additionally, you can print all threads within a topic at once.
  • Reading View offers a clean, modern design, allowing you to navigate between threads easily. Reading view also allows you to edit the topic from within the discussion area and return to the main Discussion List.

Welcome back, Grid View.
