Students and Instructors Embrace Clickerless Classrooms

The days of purchasing a clicker for attendance taking or to respond to questions in class are a thing of the past. Meet Top Hat, Ohio State’s student response system, introduced in May 2015.

The original goal was to have 2,500 users. The amount of interest in Top Hat has blown that number out of the water, 9.5 times over, with potential student savings of nearly $1 million.
