Carmen (Canvas) Launch Party
Who doesn't love a party? Especially one with yummy treats and awesome giveaways. Celebrate the launch of the production environment of Carmen (Canvas) on April 25 in the Research Commons.
Q. What is Canvas?
Canvas is the new learning management system (LMS) that will power Carmen. Over the course of the next year, the entire university will be adopting Carmen (Canvas). The exciting news? You're going to love this new tool.
Stop by for a few minutes, or stay the whole two hours. You'll have the opportunity to learn about Carmen (Canvas) and how the ODEE team is here to support you. Talk to faculty members already using the tool. Snack on yummy wraps and Graeter's ice cream. Oh, and did we mention there will be prizes?
Q. Do I have to stay for the whole event to win a prize?
Nope. Swing by when you can, for as long as you can, but be sure to put your name in for the drawing. If you're not around when your name is called, we'll contact you with instructions on how to collect your prize.

Q. I’m not a faculty member, can I still come to the party?
Of course! Carmen is used by audiences across campus. Everyone is invited, and there will be a station dedicated to what student’s will love about Carmen (Canvas).
