Summer Hours at Digital Union Locations

Summer has arrived on campus, which means vacations, internships, study abroad trips and more. With a large portion of students away from campus over the summer, the Digital Union locations will have some temporary changes starting now:

• Enarson and Hagerty locations are closed over the summer
• Weekday Summer hours at the Prior, Stillman and Denney Hall locations are 9 – 5 p.m. Monday - Friday
• All Digital Union locations will be closed on the weekends

“Our statistics show that we receive 80 percent fewer visitors during the summer as compared to other semesters, so it seemed fiscally responsible to close the two locations over the summer,” Queenie Chow, Manager of the Digital Unions, said.  “Plus, the money we save from closing those locations will be used to upgrade the Denny Hall video studio.”

Summer is a great time to access DU resources, and avoid the regular term crowds. Many instructors find this is a great opportunity to make lightboard videos, scan in any documents or photos, or create other types of course content with DU assistance.

Free 3-D printing is also still available over the summer in the Stillman Hall location. Ten requests are selected for print weekly with priority given to submissions that show the strong academic relevance and innovative potential.
