State Authorization Canadian Approvals

The State Authorization team is making progress researching and obtaining international approvals for The Ohio State University distance education programs. The team recently received the following Canadian approvals: 

• Manitoba: Ohio State is approved to offer online programs, including programs with internship or practicum components. Ohio State is not approved to advertise or recruit in Manitoba, and staff may not be located in Manitoba.
• Nova Scotia: Ohio State is approved to offer online programs, including programs with internship or practicum components.
• Ontario: Ohio State is approved to offer 100% online programs. Programs with a clinical or practicum component are under review, and may require completion of an application.

International approvals are prioritized based on students inquires received. As you receive inquiries from international students interested in enrolling in Ohio State, make sure you keep the State Authorization team informed.

If you are interested in seeking additional approvals for on-the-ground programs or advertising, email the State Authorization team. Please note than professional licensing board approvals may be required in these provinces for licensure track programs.
