Public Computing Spaces

ODEE manages and supports a variety of spaces on campus, including public computing spaces and technology-enhanced informal spaces. These spots are great places to drop in and use the computers. No reservation needed, check them out today.

Thompson Library

There are more than 230 computers throughout the library.

First floor consultant-monitored space (room 160) with 33 workstations and public printing (standard and large format).

18th Avenue Library

First floor consultant-monitored space with more than 100 PCs and public printing.

 

Technology-enhanced, informal learning spaces are available for student, faculty, and staff use. In these spaces you'll find updated computers and comfortable seating for individual or group work.

Smith Laboratories

First floor public space with comfortable seating, wireless display, and four 5-seat private collaboration rooms.

Hitchcock Hall

Basement common space, with comfortable seating and 5-seat counter with power and powered USB.

Enarson Classroom Building

Basement common space (right outside the Digital Union) with 10 Macs and two 4-seat group work stations with power and powered USB.

Third floor common space with comfortable seating and touch screen PC display.

Stillman Hall

First-floor public space located outside the Digital Union location in Stillman Hall. Comfortable seating for 10, including power and powered USB. Nine Mac stations with stools and six walk-up Macs.

Room 103 provides comfortable seating for nine, including power and powered USB, and two wired/wireless displays for group work.

Room 107 provides comfortable seating for 15 with a 4-seat counter, including power and powered USB
