Proudfoot is a huge fan of the Canvas Teacher app, and her favorite feature is the ability to moderate discussion boards. “Using the Canvas Teacher app, I was able to respond to students within an hour, even while traveling,” she explained. “It makes my life a lot easier when I don’t have to get on a computer to check and respond to discussion board posts.”
For one professor, the shift from a physical textbook to digital content has the potential to save students approximately $5,500 a year, thanks to a grant from the Affordable Learning Exchange.
